The budget SHTF rifle… SU16A

This is my idea of a lightweight, AR magazine feed weapon that will serve a purpose as my possible bugout carbine. The SU16A

when you say its .223 does it say that on the barrel or 5.56? cause if it is only 223 then you dont want to use that 556 mil spec ammo in your rifle or it can blow your hands and face off. the 556 has more pressure then the 223 and so can blow up the action of a gun, so check before you shoot just in case.

not sure if you knew that or not but just thought i would let you know. if it doesnt give the caliber call keltec to make sure its 556×45 and not .223

@politicalsheepdog That’s all I’m looking for…. someday I’ll have a AR or M1A for my main battle rifle.

I have a SU16C and found the think is real light so it is not all that comfortable to shoot. The buttstock did not feel real good on the cheek weld. Shot pretty accurate though so it does serve its purpose.
