@mlagueux NEVER!!! Jasus Dave and Jason are men of steel – they are pioneering mountain men in the grand american tradition. You should never write such horrible things about them and their bold conquests. . .

  5. my god, it’s a maintained use trail, you’re not bushwacking or free soloing super gnarly stuff. the first ascent of half dome was done in 1875. and the dude brought his lady friend with him, she did it in a dress. you nerds look pretty soft

Dude, I totally can understand your crap pain. I tried halfDome 3 times before I finally made it on the 3rd. The second time though, while walking through the forest, I had that urge that was not going away, no matter what I tried. Luckily, off trail there was 2 huge knocked down trees, that provided a perfect place to hold onto and squat. Man, you talk about relief.

I’m surprised you watched it long enough to see the marmot. Cool.

  20. Marmot looks a lot different than the ones we see here in the Colorado mountains.

Too bad this video isn’t getting a whole lot of views. I used this video for reference before I went to Yosemite and hiked Half Dome for the first time on Wednesday.

  22. This video is a work of art. What amazing and brave souls Jason and Jesus Dave are. Man, I wish I can be like them when I grow up 🙂
