    lol. Watching my videos, Victor?
Yes you can, but this method enables more “portability.” God Bless ya. 🙂

I suppose, if you didn’t have cotton balls, you could take an extra pair of underpants or a t-shirt or any cotton fabric. You could use cooking oil in the same way I suppose.

Yes! Great idea! Howbeit, I wouldn’t want to be trekking in the wilderness with light fluid coated cotton balls and matches/strikers in near proximity. If you seperate, it’d be a good plan; it would smell up you pack and make it more flammable however. Thanks for the comment; yes, your idea would for sure work!

  10. Do you think it will work with some lighter fluid instead of using a bunch of Vaseline?

  11. Great info, thanks.

try cooking oil, burn cleaner than vaseline

Just bought some cotton balls for my survival kit. A little black smoke is not a bother if I’m warm or cooking over the flame. Thanks for the tip.

Great, but i found it a bit misleading… if u make a fire out of this it lets of a black smoke which is toxic and can give u cancer if you breathe in enough of it. So i dont recommend falling asleep near it or even being near it at that. Not a great tip saying this can save your life =/.

No, I don’t mean the location. Where Do you Usually Find The Cotton….. In A Bathroom! And the same with Vaseline then all you need is a match up your sleeve and WHOSH! Fire in the bathroom! 😀

  21. WeaponsEnthusiast | May 25, 2010 at 9:18 pm |

    Incorrect. Try…..backyard porch.
Bathroom flames would be quite funny though!

  22. GeeksRus95 | May 25, 2010 at 9:30 pm |

    FIRE IN THE BATHROOM! 😀

Thanks for the positive feedback, sir.
I WILL do another video in the near future of various types of fire set-ups. I will try to light them in all the different methods I know. I like to talk because it expands the amount of knowledge given out. Thanks for acknowledging me on that. I wouldv’e said even more about this video, but it was a fast, experimental video. Anyways, I appreciate your comment; stay tuned for more videos on fire, knives, guns, and other miscellaneous survival tips!

Great video! It’s so cooool to see how fast it works. Thanks for talking about, on some videos about this I watched they just showed it and didn’t talk. 5/5. You should do another with a bigger fire (sticks and stuff, not just leaves) and different ways of firessss!
