Quick Tip: Dealing with longer amounts of cordage.

This a handy tip for keeping your cordage/line/string under control and twist/knot free. He suggests that this tip is handy for longer lenghts (75-100+ ‘) and I agree.

  1. That is the advantage to this technique …very limited tangling when you get cord off the roll. It helps avoid the usual knots and tangles when you unfurl a bit of cordage with this length.

  2. Are there any particular advantages to doing this instead of the usual circles around the thumb and elbow? It did look like that structure was a bit more secure- very limited tangling while finishing it off.
