You can kill a rabbit by throwing a rock or stick at it. There’s a big difference between killing a rabbit and a deer. You are right about the noise problem though. Guns are to loud and draw attention to yourself so they’re not good in a survival situation. 3000 PSI pellet guns with large caliber pellets arent really an option either since they require a scuba air compressor and are still very loud. Bows and sling bows are silent and use cheap ammo that could be made in the field

Build one for yourself, you have to have the black cords, your only out 30$, you will see. I have shot 3 rabbits with the one I have now and hunt with it every day for rabbits. Whats nice about it is I can hunt in an urbane environment and no one even knows the difference around me.

It’d definitely need a razer sharp broadhead for deer though. What do you think the arrow speed is?
