outdoor survival Pt 2

This is Part two of a series i am doing on you tube, The series is titled outdoor survival, I will be taking you through some of the basics of surviving if you are injured or lost, This video will document Gear, How to implement and how to survive if you become lost.     OH I know that too well! I just finished a overnight trip in 18th century gear and it was COLD!! If you check out pt1 and Pt5 i have some other fire sources and ideas as well.

  2. I like what you’re doing with your videos but keep in mind, as a back packer, one has to carry all that. I try to carry things with more than one purpose instead of several things which do the same thing. The one thing I do carry more than one of is fire source. If one is in a true survival situation, hypothermia is the number one killer. A body can go several days with out food, a couple days without water but one cold night can kill ya.

    thats all im asking for next christmas , i like your videos im studying your stuff so i can start aking my own vids and im also a paranoid hippy that thinks sosciety is going to collapse. i live in north east canada really fucking cold so i going to have take what i learn and build on it to addapt to my enviroment. any really cold winter tips? i meanthe coldest litterally.

    I actually carry one on my belt, I guess i need to do a revision here soon on some of my other tools. good advice though.

    When I used to do Forestry Engineering all of us would carry those space blankets with us they rule…I still use those for hunting too.
    Cool compass, similar to several that I have, but the notes in the back are cool. The mirror is used in how you use the compass properly for engineering.
    Another great vid…good stuff! *****
    Only trouble I see, is who will carry it ha ha lol…very nice orginized survival pack man!

    well i normally take people with me that do not always have all of the equipment needed so my pack reflects what i carry for 2 to 3 people.

    ok I was juppin the gun after vid #1 saying you need certain stuff in your fanny pack but here it is in your back pack so there you did cover it LOL like signal mirror & compass maybe you could go with a mre or beaf jearky
