NZSAS First Among Equals – Part 16

NZSAS: First Among Equals is a world first – an exclusive documentary series about the inner workings of this country’s most famous elite, the “top 1 percenters” of the new zealand defence force – better known as the NZSAS. Based on 3 years of unprecedented access, this New Zealand series includes never before seen footage of the successful few who’ve earned a place in New Zealand’s leading military unit. It observes them under pressure as they struggle to learn a multitude of expert skills including parachuting, marksmanship, demolitions, infiltration, survival techniques and communications – all to the SAS benchmark.

@RDCKM Systema, krav maga are the most popular in my knowledge for a civilian to learn CQB fighting. But you can also mix judo,jiu-jitsu and knife fighting like the filipino knife fight style.

Learn Krav Maga. Its the Israeli form of Close Quarter Battle. I asume u mean Hand to Hand rather than CQB gun fighting?

In Vietnam, the Kiwi and Aussie SAS were known as “Ma Rung” or Jungle Ghosts…for good reason.

  19. Fair enough comment.sweet

  20. Now before you get your prick in a knot, know that I’m not complaining about the main focus of the video, the NZ SAS. And yes, they do kick ass, and are one of the most highly trained units on the planet, and I am very glad we have these extremely talented men as our allies. The video itself is awesome, and I am very impressed. I do have issues with the know-it-all American “defense analyst”, who got very simple, open source information completely wrong.

  21. Get over yourself you idiot.Dont be jealous because our SAS kicks arse.

  22. USASOC is not based in Fort Benning. This video has all kinds of misinformation.

  23. A US SF bar? Never heard of one. There may be a bar that is a local hangout for current and former SF guys, but there is no such animal as a “Special Forces bar”.
