“He’s A Shooter”

How Do You Keep 2 Squads (24 Marines) Pinned Down? With One 70 Year Old Rifle. (imagine what this guy could have done with a 308 AR or FAL, mag fed and scoped) The Marines and Army need the AR10 or bring back the M14 as standard issue.

  1. Damn, my Remington 700 .223 with a line-of-sight shot is straight up to 500 yards, but that sniper was out about 700-850 yards anybody have a .308? Also, the most sophisticated Army in the world and nobody has a pair of binoculars WTF we need a Big5 in Afghanistan… this is BULLSHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

weve got m14 back in the army not enough though and a few 308 m40 rifles. that was my complaint in afgan i need a rifle with more reach and power and could not get it so i made do with a m16 a2 and 4X scope the m16 is quite accurate butt 5.56 round isnt the best for long range

  4. So what round was the sniper using? Was it a .308?

Ours and Theirs, Russians, Chinese, and any other force not listed, my comment isn’t against fighting if the bottom line is you must. it’s preferable to fight then live as a coward, but knowing the ROE for non-mil combatants/snipers can allow for better planing in the SHTF. the ROE in Iraq are if a rifle is seen on your person they have the right to 50 cal that combatant, so just having a gun is a death sentence in Iraq. so keep that in mind in a “wROL” and be prepared

  10. Your right about that brother. A few well place rounds can stop a whole battalion in its tracks. And then you break out..

AMEN to going back to 308! It may weigh a bit more but it only takes 1 instead of 2 or 3 to get the job done. Good video! Thank you! :o)

I can’t stress how important having a accurate long range rifle is! Great video yankee!

  13. AR-10? M-14? We need to use our full arsenal. It sickens me to see soldiers risking their lives while B-52s, Apaches, F-16s, Gunships, artillery, and other force multipliers stand unused for politically correct reasons. The Stan is turning into Vietnam with whole areas off limits to strikes. The US is killing its own.

@Chiliconnada all i am saying if you are snipping the Geneva Conventions offers no protection for non-military operators and the field officer after interrogation can shoot you on the spot, not saying you should not engage and protect yourself, i am just saying that you shouldn’t surrender and have a well thought out exit strategy if you do shoot in the name of self defense. don’t think you will be treated politely if you are taken as a prisoner.

YP your right again. I hate when your right.. I pray for our Marines…. its sad that only half of America considers those Marines as People they care about.I miss the old AMerica where everyone in the US were proud of our service men and women. In SHTF people better square up and be Americans or go run and hide….cause I am getting sick of this Anit America BS from people living here…

  17. What’s a good “reach out and touch someone” rifle for cheap? I’m thinking a MN? Cheap gun/ammo… An AR-10 is out of the budget.

I just picked up a really clean mosin 91/30. I’m looking to get a membership at an outdoor range and try to get decent with it. So, your advice is well taken and a good idea for all. I read an article where an Iraqis was able to take down several from ~950 yards with a sniper 91/30 MN model. So these old guns still work just as well as they did 70 years ago!

@Brantoc LOL! that would be downsizing!

  20. @MadBadVoodo If I had the US Army budget I’d go DPMS SASS.

  21. Wait.. I just noticed something.. 2 Platoons is 24 marines? Are they in 3 man squads now? I heard of downsizing, but that would be like 350 man division!

@Yankeeprepper Yea I’ve heard a lot about the new 6.8 SPC round. Most guns that are coming out to replace the M16 are being offered in 6.8, like the XCR and SCAR. Even some SWAT teams are switching to this round. It has a lot more range, is just as accurate, and packs a bigger punch.

You are a dumbass that can’t see right from wrong and would rather attack those that you know won’t kill you for speaking. Although, you SHUTTING UP would be a great comfort to those that are sick of your liberal logic.

@nbrown1378 …Get those innocent brothers of the desert to stop raping 12 year old girls for punishment when they show their ankles. Get those brothers of the religion of peace to stop stoning women to death as a form of divorce. Get those loving “farmers” to stop macheting their neighbor for not praying in the right direction.

  25. this is all the more reason to have a trained crew in a SHTF situation. I have begun shooting 75 grain from my AR. You always need a heavier gun for that LD situation. 308, 300win, 338 lapua is my fav. Imagine that soldier getting hit by a 338… things would have been a whole lot worse.
