There is nothing like reading snow….this is bull shit…..humans have a very good subconscious memory and everything they see slowly imprints on their memory and thats how they always know how to go back home…i can challenge these Inuits that they cant find their way back home in Himalayas……i guess may be they can read the stars night thats the only accurate way to know the travelling direction…otherwise they will die and MY brother “snow leopard” will eat them in HIMALAYAS

I would love to spend a few months with the Inuits to learn some basic Arctic survival techniques from them.

I think the point is make the effort to keep the traditions alive. , and I read that in Arctic Canada even the names of places are changed to Inuit language. 🙂

00:01: “Pass on his skills to his son”. The father is relaxing on the couch watching TV. Great skill. 1:03: “Leave the modern world behind”. But look at that village. Modern? 1:55: “He can still find his way by following the patterns in the snow”. They are showing the dogs’ butts. 2:53: They have a special word for meeting the polar bear. It translates to “pissing my pants”. 3:24: “His own knowledge of the land”. I don’t see any land, just snow.
