		<description>not just the UK brother. This would be hard to do in many parts of the US too. The southwest US has more relaxed building codes, but  Oregon, CA Washington and many others have really strict ones. Missouri doesn&#039;t have any, go figure.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m in Missouri and it&#039;s still pretty much anything goes when it comes to setting up your homestead.  We have all the water, well most of it, and there are a lot of cattle to rustle if necessary.  Jest kidding!   I&#039;m going the vegetarian route and have a spring, spring house, a deep root cellar, an indoor and outdoor garden.  We have solar power, but need more panels.   Why can&#039;t all buildings be off-grid designed in the US?   Surely we are capable of this in the US.</description>
