dude it doesnt work it out believe me

  5. wtf that thing is weak it looks like he is using some vines he found it went 5 feet you would scare whatever u were hunting away

  6. 00nerd4 i actually do keep a bit of duct tape in my pack because sometimes it could be used for repairs, bandages and what ever other reason you might need it for

  7. do you carry duct tape in the wilderness?

  8. i really recommed adding some duct tape at the end of the arrow because as ExON00 stated the arrow may split if the bow is strong enough and the tape will reinforce it and hopefull prevent that. btw nice video

  9. 1: Hunting is the last resort for catching food in a survival situation.
2: that bow is way too weak
3: IF the bow has any strength to it, the bowstring will split an arrow like that right down the middle

  10. If this dude wouldn’t have been cut from his first little league team he might even be able to throw a rock with more deadly force and accuracy.

as a bowyer, flintknapper, and fletcher i can say that is one of the shittiest bows. i’ve made bundle bows. he used too small of limbs for the bow and the wrong side of the arrow shaft.. he held the arrow on the string wrong, and he’s trying way to hard to be like ashton cutcher

  15. think about it… if you have nothing…
in extreme situation you will use it….

maybe, but forget about any animals dude there is no way, thats going to penetrate skin

This bow wouldn’t be totally useless…it would be good for fishing in shallow water. Put the tip of the arrow into the water so you can judge refraction though. If you were lucky, you MIGHT be able to hit somethign small like a grouse or something, keep it down for logn enough for you to run over and step on it. Also, if you’re near water, you can use cattail stalks for arrows (not the reeds, the stick part) if you harden the tips with fire, or make wood/bone/stone points. They’re straight.

hey, fuckface, im don’t waste my money on a stupid camera and im already to busy, and plus, i could care less about teaching youtube browsers on how to make a legit bow.

I do agree with fearyourgovernment that the arrows need to be as straight as possible, if you don’t have fire at the time use your knife to widdleit as best you can.

If you were stranded and trying to survive and were lucky enough to have a knife, the most important tool you could have, would you really want to risk, hitting a rock and dulling or breaking it or losing it? And who says you dont make a snare trap as well? Double your chances.

Well then why don’t you stop running your mouth and show us, make a video.

  22. Fearyourgovernment | March 23, 2010 at 6:04 am |

you better learn how to straighten your arrow shafts with fire boys and girls because no matter how hard you look, you’ll never find a straight stick.. I’ve never seen one in my life
