I have watched a few of your videos now and I am more and more impressed after each one. Get yourself an agent, pitch and idea and get yourself on television. I have seen hundreds of videos on bushcraft and wilderness survival and yours are by far the best in the category and among the best on Youtube. I run a camping website and will absolutely be linking to your site the next time I upload pages. And I don’t link to anyone. Well done my friend.

I have done a similar thing a month ago and walked across a band like yours after a half an hour i had the feeling down and could easily walk across a band wich was about 3 meters long and was capable to turn walk back and even walk backwards, after another half an hour
it was really fun to do but i didnt know i was using these techniques you talk about and thought i was just walking

love your show ( a fan from holland , i asked a question with a contact form on your site)

Thanks so much for the kind words! Glad to hear that you are enjoying the philosophy so much! Stay tuned for more and feel free to reach out anytime!

  10. I totally love and dig the videos that you make, they are very informative, but above all, I appreciate the philosophy behind them. I like very much that at the end of most of the videos not only do I learn a new technique, but I learn to appreciate my interaction with my environment and to learn to honor it as much as I can. Thank you again, and keep up the GREAT vids coming! BTW, Slack lining is amazing, a buddy of mine introduced me to it a while ago. Thanks again!

My neighbors always thought I was crazy for these things,as well as the zipline off of the street light pole. The city didnt think it was as great as I did so they said I couldnt do it anymore, lol. I fractured my hip doing a slack line behind Miguels pizza at red river gorge kentucky…….I wasnt sober,so learn from my mistake-dont drink and slackline!

Thank you so much, your videos have been a huge help, me and some friends are going out to my uncles 1700 acre woods to see who can stay out there the longest. You have really given me a HUGE advantage

Awesome… thank you for the insight. I will be sure to check it out!

  22. @HedgehogLeatherworks …I heard an author on public radio a month or so back, who had written a book called “Dark Green Religion,” referring to the common strands of spirituality that run through the lives of people who revere nature, feel themselves a part of it, and believe in the interconnectedness of all things. I think it might be right up your alley, and something you might want to explore. Thank you for sharing these extremely informative, high quality videos.

Hey! Thanks for commenting… I really appreciate the kind words, and I love how you say that your “body” is 51… somebody told me that growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional… I always get a chuckle out of that. Have a great weekend!

  24. sublimemadness | August 23, 2010 at 4:00 pm |

Thanks Paul, I really enjoyed that. I used to practice balancing, by walking along the tops of the tall fences that surrounded the gardens where I lived, back when my body was around 10 years old. My body is 51 years old now, and having good ballance has saved it more than once in this life. Keep up the very good work Paul, you’ll inspire many, I’m sure. Judging by some of the half-witted comments I’ve read while viewing your vids, a little inspiration isn’t going to hurt. 🙂
