This sounds really screwed up. I hope they don’t put up with this fraud.

China are the world leaders in the use of renewables. They will eventually put the rest of us to shame if we don’t get our acts together.

I can’t hold back on this. I have never believed in global warming never. I am reminded of this every fall and winter and today a long spring warm up. This planet would not even miss mankind if we were wiped from the face of this earth. This planet is so abundnt that we can not use all the resources. We have not used up any today or tomarrow or ever not going to happen. In case you forget one volcano can pump out more c02 and lets not forget forest fires that we know of burning year round.

  4. los angeles and california pushing it through in 2010 to set the standard for the rest of the world. china india and mexico are the worst polluters

sounds like just another tax to me and also a way to track and control people .

It’s laughable that he says in this article no one is going to be effected that doesn’t live a lavish lifestyle. Then why even bother with the program? If all you can do is get a few bankers to have to purchase more credits from the frugal ppl then how are you reducing emissions? Honestly, only a moron would fall for this.

All of this carbon non-sense is a scheme to control. Don’t forget meat is supposed to be the #1 carbon emitter, so they will have to track how much meat you purchase as well

5 stars. Will let you folks know when we get our Carbon Ration Cards. All part of the new Deconomic Climate Change. Cheers

  9. The “elite” won’t bother to tell you that the entire solar system is heating up. The sun itself is burning hotter. They won’t bother to tell you that earth is due a polar shift. We’re overdue about 600,000 yrs, I think. You’re on the damn “money”, Yankee. The elite are taking a naturally occuring event and trying to make money and spread fear. Their hipocracy knows no bounds. It’s ok though. More and more people are waking up to the charade. I only hope not too little, not too late.

This is on the door step now, HR 2454. This bill has passed the house and going to the Senate. Everything will change as you know it if this bill passes and Obama signs the Coopenhagen

Ross Perot once said “you’ll hear a big sucking sound if NAFTA goes through” Where do you think jobs will go if this is signed. China, India will not be signing this treaty.
Now is the time for all good… come to the aid of our.. call CONGRESS vote NO

research anything you read from the uk….or anywhere for that matter…..

  16. Indeed. Lots of – “‘Do As I Say, Not As I Do”. That we “bloody peasants” have in some cases been enjoying lifestyles in recent decades that have close the gap between the aristocracy and commoner more than ever before in history, irritates them. We’re seen as a breeding pest, while they consider themselves not part of whatever problems they highlight. Prince Philip & Charles have in many cases pointed out true crises, but they’d like everybody ‘else’ to make sacrifices. Not themselves.

  17. Remember folks, the peasants need to clamp down on their carbon footprints while the royalty fly coast to coast in their jets whenever they please…and if you really want to punish the bankers, let’s take our money BACK.

of course 20 year is in our lifetime thats 2 decade away what my point is that main advancement is we need to prepare for more recent things that is imminent

  20. @ApocalypticRedIX

Do you believe in waiting until the last minute, when the odds are stacked against us??

I got an all expense paid trip in 1991, paid for by U.S. taxpayers via the U.S. DOD.

It was a short trip, I seen more of Kuwait, than Iraq. But my time in Iraq was explosive.

Agreed, Friendship is the best prep you can make.

  24. Cont…..Btw,the middle east was in a civilian capacity. Not military. Yourself? With the conversation in Syria,it was good to see that although I discovered a local friend was on that 2nd income, he still put friendship first above all else. I’d made the silly mistake of mentioning intentions to head on to Israel (a major Faux pas in Syria for obvious reasons). Ordinarily, that would have been passed on (he said so). But he said he would never do so because I was a friend. Friendship reigns.

  25. Cont……I’d say that the informing thing is already in place in regard to some things. Especially in the workplace. People are always on the look out for words that are considered politically incorrect, and people have ended up fired due to a joke being taken the wrong way. Out of the workplace, I’d say that the reverse is happening though. Increasingly there is a backlash against political correctness in public. People are sick of thinking twice (or thrice) before they speak.
